Canceling and Re-Establish SL Accounts

One thing I found troublesome in my 10K Challenge Journey, within the first 30 days was in the cancel and re-establish safelist accounts process.


I was already a member for some of the safelists used in the 10k Challenge, but I wanted to be under my 10K Challenge sponsor in this whole process, so I did cancel some safelist accounts, waited a few days (usually 3-7 days), then used my 10k Challenge sponsor's referral links to re-establish membership with safelist accounts.

Despite this, I still gained referrals and success with the program!

Pros: I know who my sponsor is at every safelist now and I have contact with my sponsor who can share information about every site/program I'm involved with.

Cons: on a few days, my online activities related to the 10K Challenge took more than 35 minutes for me to complete. (This is not a fault of the program, in fact - no fault or wrongs here at all - just something unplanned for that happened in my situation).

I feel the pros outweighed the cons, by far and just wanted to share a little about a very surmountable bump I experienced in my 10K Challenge journey.

At first, when I realized I had a few accounts to cancel, wait time for which I wouldn't have certain accounts active for sending out emails, I felt overwhelmed. I took a few days off related to sign-ups but kept reviewing instructions from my member dashboard, then jumped back in when I was ready to focus on managing this small hurdle.

I have learning disabilities, so some things that seem small to other people can be more confusing to me than to the average person - especially related to staying focused and related to organizing things. Once I made a little extra time for solution-based thinking and tasks, I went to work solving a small problem I'd run into.

I encourage anyone who has a bewildering moment in the program to go ahead and log off, log out, take a break... come back in a few hours with the willingness to focus for 10 minutes aside from the 35 minutes allotted for The 10K Challenge tasks. Focus for 10 minutes on a particular obstacle, then resume 10K Challenge activities.

In the end, this is what my stress free solution was to the problem I encountered and made the problem surmountable in a very short time.
